Do you have breathing problems and/or sleep problems? Alberta Researchers want to know the important questions that need answers. By sharing your experiences, you can help direct research dollars to answer the questions that matter most.

What do they mean by breathing and sleep problems?

Breathing Problems: Any disorder that may affect breathing or contribute to lung health. Examples of breathing problems may include: asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, bronchiectasis, and cystic fibrosis, but there are many others. Breathing problems may also be coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, or many other symptoms.

Sleep Problems: Any disorder that affects the ability to have a good night’s sleep or stay awake during the day. Examples of sleep problems may include: sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy, but there are many others. Sleep problems may also be difficulty sleeping, difficulty staying asleep, feeling sleepy or tired during the day, or many other symptoms.

What is involved in taking part?

AHS Respiratory Health Strategic Clinical Network is asking you to tell them your ideas for future research. There are no bad ideas! The survey is about 6-8 questions (depending on your answers) and should take 5-15 minutes to complete.
