Albertans who previously tested positive for COVID-19 are invited to fill out a survey about the over counter medications they used

Over the counter (OTC) medications are often used to help manage cough and cold symptoms when people are sick.  Some of these medications might affect how the COVID-19 virus works in the body.  The OTCRx&COVID19 study will determine if there is a link between over the counter medication use and the course of COVID-19.  We are inviting all Albertans with a positive COVID-19 test result to participate in our study.  If you agree to participate, we will ask you to fill out a survey that will take about 15 minutes.

More information about the study and access to the survey can be found at:
or by contacting the study personnel by phone (780-492-7538)
or by email (otcrxandcovid19@ualberta.ca).
